Στενούς φίλους από μακριά είναι ένα παιδί στο κέντρο του έργου το οποίο θα ενθαρρύνει τους μαθητές μας για να μάθετε περισσότερα σχετικά με ευρωπαϊκή τους φίλους τους και να δουν τους εαυτούς τους ως ισότιμοι εταίροι εντός της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης. Θα έχουν μια σαφή αποδοχή της πολιτισμικής της πολυμορφίας, την αποδοχή μας για τη συνοχή της κοινότητας. Θα καλλιεργήσουμε ένταξη λόγω της ποικιλίας των ηλικιών, ικανοτήτων και εθνοτική ποικιλομορφία. Θα επιτρέψει στα παιδιά να μάθουν μέσα από ένα σταυρό θεματική προσέγγιση με τις πραγματικές εμπειρίες της ζωής. Θα μοιραστούμε τον τρόπο ζωής, τις παραδόσεις και τα φεστιβάλ. Τα παιδιά θα μάθουν για ένα ευρύ φάσμα επίκαιρων θεμάτων, συμπεριλαμβανομένου του περιβάλλοντος, τους υγιεινούς τρόπους ζωής, Σύγχρονων Γλωσσών και την παροχή στα παιδιά μας τις δεξιότητες για την εξασφάλιση της δια βίου μάθησης. Project description Close Friends From Afar is a child centred project which will encourage our pupils to learn more about their European Friends and see themselves as equal partners within the European Union. They will have a clear acceptance for our cultural diversity whilst accepting community cohesion. We will foster Inclusion due to the variety of ages, abilities and ethnic diversity. It will enable the children to learn through a cross curricular approach with real life experiences. We will share lifestyles, traditions and festivals. The children will learn about a wide range of topical issues including the Environment, Healthy Lifestyles, Modern Languages and providing our children with the skills to ensure lifelong learning. The use of wide range of technology will feature as the main source of communication. This will be achieved through pupils' experience of their mascot's journey through Europe. Video conferencing and electronic logs and diaries will provide the children with the opportunities to become 'Close Friends From Afar'. Motivation Our children are the future of a multicultural Europe . We wish to instill in our children the beauty of diversity and to show them that in spite of diversity we can all live in harmony. The project, through communication and sharing, will bring together children with different lifestyles, customs and tradition. The project will help the children realize that no matter where they live, what customs and traditions they have and how far away they live they are very much alike. The project boosts the ethos of the partner schools as they will learn from each other's experiences and share knowledge in learning and teaching skills using ICT. The international visits will help to motivate the staff and acquire good practices from each other. The project will give an opportunity to all children of different abilities and social background the opportunity to take part and contribute in the project activities. |
